Say it isn't so huh!  Well unfortunately The network and studios have been negotiating a new contract with the union representing TV and film writers and well...it doesn't seem to be going very well.

If the strike were to happen it would affect all the networks.  If it were to happen, the strike could end up being even more damaging than the 1988 writers walkout which we all know was a lose - lose situation for everyone.  That strike lasted 5 months and left thousands of people unemployed.  At this point all we can do is hope the Writers Guild of America can find some sort of common ground with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
