Character's background

Simone is an art dealer living in New York. At the start of the show she is romantically involved with artist Isaac Mendez (portrayed by Santiago Cabrera), however his drug addiction is pushing her away from him. She tries to get him to stop but he claims the heroin is what allows him to paint the future. Simone believes his paintings are artisticlly impressive and eventually takes some of the artwork before Isaac detroys them.

After Isaac almost dies in her presence from an overdose Simone tells him she cannot take it anymore and she leaves him. Simone call's Peter Petrelli (portrayed by Milo Ventimiglia), the hospice nurse taking care of her father over to save Isaac.

With her troubled past with Isaac and the recent lose of her father Simone ends up confiding in Peter. They soon become romantically involved and Peter eventually confeses his love for her but Simone doesn't want to rush into a relationship.

Due to writers not being able to decide which direction to take Simone's character after season 1's finale Heroes Creator Tim Kring informed her of them writing off her character.
