Character's powers and abilities

Molly has the ability to "find people"  All she has to do is focus on them and her mind will go to where they are.  Beyond this power not much else is known.

Character's background

Molly is a little girl whose parents were murdered by Sylar (portrayed by Zachary Quinto).  She is first discovered hiding at the crime scene.  Molly is one of the first that Sylar goes after, and he has attempted to abduct her on more than one occasion.  Later in the show it is revealed that "the company" has what they are calling the "walker tracking system" with the ability to locate anyone in the world by mere thought.  The Walker Tracking system is Molly. 

Inhibited by the same neuro-degrading virus that killed Shanti Suresh (Mohinder's sister), Molly progressively weakens until Mohinder realizes the antidote to her illness is contained in his DNA.  After a transfusion with his blood Molly begins to recuperate.

Matt Parkman (the police officer who rescued Molly at her parents crime scene) and Mohinder end up becoming her legal guardians.  During season 2's premier it's learned that Molly has begun drawing the helix seen throughout the series and is also having disturbing nightmares.  During one of the dreams Matt uses his abilities to listen in on the dream where he overhears a mans voice telling Molly that he can see her!
