Character's powers and abilities

Exact power is still unknown. Whatever it is though allows her to create an instantly fatal virus when she is under stress which kills everyone around her.

Character's background

Wanted for murder, Maya and her brother are on the run from police in Central America. Maya fears capture, as her arrest may lead to more deaths. Her victims are seen having completely black eyes and blood running from their eyes. Thus far it seems as long as Alejandro (portrayed by Shalim Ortiz) is around she is able to keep her powers under control. Unaware that Chandra Suresh is dead, the twins are trying to get to New York after discovering his book.
