Bob has the ability of aurification, which allos him to turn ordinary objects into solid gold. This resource has given "the company" enourmous financial stability

Character's background

Bob first appeared in season 2's premier "Four Months Later" during a lecture Mohinder (portrayed by Sendhil Ramamurthy) was giving. After a confrontation between him and Mohinder, Bob offers him a job trying to convince Suresh to come work for "The Company". Offering Mohinder unlimited funding to complete his research he agree's but with different motivations than Bob believes.

Bob has set up Mohinders new lab in Isaac Mendez's (deceased) New York loft.
